Middlehurst’s brand-new purpose-built Lodge comprises 10 spacious rooms with a dining area and licensed bar. Their rooms boast high levels of comfort with luxury linen, underfloor heating, sliding doors to panoramic mountain views, unlimited Wi-Fi, books, lawn games, and outdoor wood-fired hot tubs.

Drive

  • from Christchurch, via Hanmer Springs, it is approximately a 4 hour drive that will take you through the incredible unique and iconic Molesworth Station. A shuttle service may also be provided for a group coming from Christchurch.
  • from Blenheim it’s a two-hour drive from Blenheim airport through the stunning Awatere Valley.

 

Fly

  • Kaikoura to Middlehurst in a fixed wing plane, up to four people
  • Kaikoura to Middlehurst in a helicopter 18minutes flight, up to 4 people
  • Wellington to Middlehurst in a fixed wing up to 9 people
  • Blenheim to Middlehurst in a helicopter up to 5 people

The Quarters at Middlehurst Station is a secluded high-country retreat in Marlborough, New Zealand, offering luxury accommodations with stunning views of Mt Lookout and the Awatere Valley. The 10-room lodge is set on 16,500 hectares of land owned by the Macdonald family, who also run the station’s Merino sheep farm. Guests can watch shepherds at work, enjoy peaceful walks, and experience unspoilt nature. It’s a perfect getaway to either engage with farm life or simply relax and recharge in a serene, light-pollution-free environment.

Your host is Jo Jarden, a certified yoga teacher, personal trainer, and the founder of Heart and Mind Yoga Studio in Christchurch. Her approach blends body and mind practices to help individuals improve their health and cultivate a sense of positivity. With 12 years of experience in yoga, fitness classes, retreats, and more, she combines ancient yoga wisdom with modern well-being techniques to help people release tension and develop their inner strength.
