One-day Beachside Yoga Retreat, Spencer Beach Surf Lifesaving Club A one-day beachside yoga retreat with panoramic ocean views, designed to rejuvenate your body and mind. Suitablle for beginner's and all levels you'll Experience yoga, deep relaxation, fitness, yogic breathing, and meditation. Drawing on the wisdom of yoga and wellbeing science, this retreat offers a chance to step back from the busyness of life, allowing truth, wisdom, and healing to naturally emerge. In the right environment, we awaken our true nature, connecting to clarity, wholeheartedness, and the courage to live a more peaceful, purposeful life. Open to all, including beginners—no prior yoga or meditation experience necessary. Join us for a transformative experience by the beach with stunning ocean views, where you'll cultivate a joyful connection with yourself and others. Led by Jo, an highly intuitive and experienced yoga instructor, the retreat offers a perfect balance of mind and body relaxation and revitalization, suitable for all levels—no prior experience needed. Everybody is welcome!

  • Please turn off mobile phones and remove shoes at the door of the venue
  • Bring something warm for meditation, and a jacket for a walk.

The one-day beachside yoga retreat, set on the beachfront with ocean views and surrounded by native NZ bushland and forest walks, is just outside Christchurch and easily accessible by the main road.

Your host is Jo Jarden, a certified yoga teacher, personal trainer, and the founder of Heart and Mind Yoga Studio in Christchurch. Her approach blends body and mind practices to help individuals improve their health and cultivate a sense of positivity. With 12 years of experience in yoga, fitness classes, retreats, and more, she combines ancient yoga wisdom with modern well-being techniques to help people release tension and develop their inner strength.
