Have you ever felt out of sync with yourself—like your mind, body, and spirit need a reset? In our fast-paced world, finding balance can be a challenge, but ancient wisdom offers a way to realign. Ayurveda, a 5,000-year-old holistic healing system from India, provides a natural approach to well-being by harmonizing the body with nature’s rhythms.
If you’re looking to experience the transformative power of Ayurveda firsthand, join us for a unique retreat in the breathtaking landscapes of Banks Peninsula. This immersive experience will introduce you to Ayurvedic principles, personalized wellness practices, and the profound benefits of reconnecting with nature.
Ayurveda, meaning "the science of life," is a natural healing system that views health as a delicate balance between body, mind, and spirit. It is based on three primary energy types, or doshas—Vata (air & space), Pitta (fire & water), and Kapha (earth & water). Each person has a unique combination of these energies, influencing everything from digestion to emotions.
Through diet, herbal remedies, meditation, and daily routines, Ayurveda helps restore equilibrium, fostering vitality and longevity. Unlike conventional medicine, which often treats symptoms, Ayurveda seeks to address root causes, guiding you toward sustainable well-being.
Ayurveda offers a wealth of benefits, including:
🌿 Improved Digestion – Personalized nutrition and herbal support help balance your gut health.
🧘♀️ Reduced Stress & Anxiety – Meditation, breathwork, and lifestyle adjustments promote a calmer mind.
💤 Better Sleep – Ayurvedic routines and herbal remedies support deep, restful sleep.
🔥 Increased Energy & Vitality – Aligning with natural rhythms enhances overall well-being.
💆♂️ Holistic Healing – Treats the whole person, not just isolated symptoms.
Imagine waking up to the sounds of native birds, surrounded by lush hills and the soothing ocean breeze. Our Ayurveda retreat in Banks Peninsula is a chance to slow down, nourish your body with Ayurvedic meals, and immerse yourself in ancient healing practices.

To support and promote the importance of taking care of ourselves, and in doing so we help to take care of others.
We connect with passionate and talented health and wellness providers to deliver authentic experiences for all genders, ages and interests. From luxury high end escapes to build your own retreats on a smaller budget, or a one day workshop, we are fully inclusive. We then purpose our profit to create a positive effect in our communities by making health and wellness experiences available to more people, more often, without any prejudice. Here’s how….
We Retreat was founded on the basis of making profit for a purpose. For every experience booked via our website we set aside a portion of our profits so we can fund work where it’s needed in the community.
This is the mission of the We Retreat Charitable Trust*. We give our providers the opportunity to apply for funding that can help an individual, charity or group, who they know really needs it. The funds will give them the means to carry out pro-bono work within the community.
